Terms of Service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Nkaebo, a product of Teqxa. Please read them before you create an account.
This document is a draft. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Nkaebo launches, and some wording may change.
1. About these terms
Nkaebo is a service of Teqxa ("we", "us"). When you create an account or use Nkaebo, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you", "your business").
You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for your business. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Nkaebo.
2. What Nkaebo does
Nkaebo lets a business record jobs for its customers, move them through stages that the business defines, and send status messages by SMS and email at the stages the business chooses. A business can also schedule stages for later.
Only you and the team members you invite log in to Nkaebo. Your customers do not have accounts and only receive messages.
3. Your account
You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account, including by team members you invite.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Your customers and your responsibilities
You decide who receives messages and what they say. You confirm that you have the right to contact each customer you add, and that the messages relate to the work you are doing for them.
You must keep customer phone numbers and email addresses accurate, and you must respect it when a customer asks to stop receiving messages by switching off that channel on their record. Nkaebo will not send on a channel that is switched off.
For the personal data of your customers, you decide why and how it is used, and we process it on your behalf. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
5. Acceptable use
Nkaebo is for job updates that your customers expect. You must not use it to send advertising, bulk promotions or unwanted messages, or messages that are unlawful, threatening, harassing, misleading or fraudulent.
You must not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to Nkaebo, to see another business's data, or to get around the limits of your plan.
If you break these rules, we may limit sending, pause your account or close it, as described below.
6. Messages and delivery
Messages travel through telephone networks and email providers that we do not control. We try to send every message promptly, but we cannot promise that a message will arrive, or arrive at a particular time. Nkaebo shows the status of each message so you can see what happened.
Every message ends with a short line naming Nkaebo, unless your plan allows you to remove it. SMS is sold in segments. A segment holds up to 160 standard characters, and longer messages or messages with special characters use more than one segment and more than one credit.
7. Plans, credits and payments
Nkaebo has a Free plan and paid plans. The limits of each plan are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Ghana cedis and may change, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
Payments are made through our payment provider, Paystack, by Mobile Money or card. Paid plans are paid in advance for the period you choose. Card payments may renew automatically if you agree to this. Mobile Money payments are made each period, and we send reminders before your plan ends.
SMS credits that you buy do not expire. Credits that are included in a plan each month do not carry over to the next month. If a plan ends and is not renewed, your business moves to the Free plan and your data is kept, but anything above the Free limits becomes read-only.
Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it or where we made a mistake. If you think a payment was wrong, contact us and we will look at it fairly.
8. Your data and leaving Nkaebo
Your business data belongs to you. You can ask us for a copy, and you can stop using Nkaebo at any time.
When your account is closed, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep some of it. Our Privacy Policy gives more detail.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Nkaebo available and reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of interruptions or errors. We may carry out maintenance, and we may improve, change or remove features over time.
10. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Nkaebo is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses that result from a message that is delayed, not delivered or read late, from incorrect details entered by you, or for indirect losses such as lost profit.
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension and closing an account
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, sends spam, or puts Nkaebo or other people at risk. Where possible we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right first.
You may close your account at any time.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We hope any problem can be solved by talking first, so please contact us before taking any other step.
13. Changes to these terms and how to reach us
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make an important change we will tell you by email or inside Nkaebo. If you keep using Nkaebo after a change, you accept the new terms.
