Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Nkaebo collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

This document is a draft. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Nkaebo launches, and some wording may change.

1. Who we are

Nkaebo is a product of Teqxa ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@teqxa.com or info@teqxa.com, by phone on +233 257 737 537, or on WhatsApp.

2. Two kinds of information

Information about you and your business: your name, business name, email address, phone number, a protected form of your password, your plan, payment records, and how you use Nkaebo. For this information we decide why and how it is used.

Information about your customers: names, phone numbers, email addresses, job details and the messages you send them. You add this information and decide how it is used, and we process it on your behalf to deliver the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide Nkaebo: to run your account, store your jobs, send the messages you ask us to send, show delivery status, take payments, give support, keep the service secure, and meet our legal duties.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your customers' details to advertise to them.

4. Who we share information with

We use trusted companies to run Nkaebo: a database and login provider (Supabase), a hosting provider (Vercel), an email delivery provider (Resend), an SMS provider (Sailup) and a payment provider (Paystack). They receive only what they need to do their part, such as a phone number and message text to deliver an SMS.

Some of these companies may handle information outside Ghana. We choose providers that protect information carefully, and we ask them to do so. We may also share information when the law requires it.

5. Messages to your customers

The text of every message sent through Nkaebo is stored in your message history, so that you can see what was sent and when. Customers can opt out of SMS or email, and Nkaebo records each opt-out and will not send on that channel again.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is open. Message history is shown for the period your plan allows, and we may keep records a little longer for security, billing and legal reasons.

After you close your account, we delete or anonymise your information within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep some of it.

7. How we protect information

Connections to Nkaebo are encrypted. Passwords are never stored in readable form. Each business can only see its own data, and this is enforced inside the database itself. We limit who can access systems and we keep records of important actions.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your information seriously and we will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

8. Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have rights over your personal information, including to ask what we hold, to have it corrected, and in some cases to have it deleted or to object to how it is used. If you are a customer of a business that uses Nkaebo, please contact that business first, and we will help them respond.

To use your rights, write to contact@teqxa.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ghana.

9. Cookies

Nkaebo uses only the small files it needs to work: one to keep you logged in, and one to remember whether you prefer light or dark mode. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Children

Nkaebo is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make an important change, we will tell you by email or inside Nkaebo, and the date at the top will change.
